I am not currently in-network with insurance providers. However, I can provide a superbill for individual therapy, which is a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
Coverage varies by plan, so I recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits, deductible, and reimbursement rates.

I am based in Santa Barbara, California, where I offer in-person therapy. I also offer telehealth therapy to clients located anywhere in California.
-
Yes. I offer secure telehealth sessions throughout California, as well as in-person sessions in Santa Barbara. We can discuss which format feels like the best fit for you.
-
I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation before beginning therapy. This gives us a chance to connect, talk briefly about what brings you to therapy, and get a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit.
-
I typically meet with clients weekly, particularly as we begin our work together. Consistency gives us the space to build a strong therapeutic relationship and engage more deeply with the patterns and experiences bringing you to therapy.
-
There is no predetermined timeline for therapy. My work tends to be depth-oriented and is often best suited for people interested in ongoing exploration rather than a fixed number of sessions. We can continue to check in together about how the work is unfolding and what feels useful.
-
Yes. Couples therapy does not require arriving with a predetermined goal of staying together at all costs. Therapy can offer a space to better understand the relationship, the patterns between you, and what each person wants moving forward.
-
No. Previous individual therapy is not a requirement. Couples work does, however, ask each partner to develop awareness of their own emotions, defenses, attachment patterns, and contributions to the relationship. We can develop much of that awareness together, and there may be times when I recommend individual therapy alongside couples work if something would benefit from its own space.

I ask for a 24 hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your session. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged the full session fee.
